OVERVIEW:

The I-Rise after-school program currently runs 3 days a week from Monday to Wednesday and works with elementary through high school-aged children on homework completion, reading, culinary, nutrition and gardening, art and other social/emotional development enrichments so that Coatesville youth and children are able to be at grade level and stay successful in school.

Homework Tutorial

Students start the day with snack, followed by an hour of tutoring time with volunteer tutors and staff along with an hour of daily enrichment and extracurriculars. The goal is to maintain a 1:1 ratio with tutors and students.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Monday – Wednesday 4:00– 6:30 pm

• Tutors – work with one or two children a week to help them understand and complete their homework during sessions 4-5pm, 4:45-5:35pm, and 5:35 to 6:30pm

​

• Instructors – we are always looking for people with specialized talents to share their experience and passion with our youth.  If you have a skill and passion that you would love to teach at CKC, we would love to have you work with us.​
